- Nursing home resident ID issued by a government facility
- U.S. passport or passport card
- Valid employee ID card, containing a photograph issued by voter’s employer in ordinary course of business (public or private employer)
- Valid student ID issued by a public or private college or high school located in Virginia
- Other U.S. or Virginia government-issued photo ID
- Voter ID card issued by the Department of Elections
- Current utility bill, bank statement, government check, or paycheck, containing your name and address (document cannot be more than 12 months old)
- Any other current government document containing your name and address

Voting Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Be a resident of Virginia.
- Be 18 years old on or before the next general election
- (if you are 17, you can still register and vote in elections if you will be 18 on or before the next general election).
- Not currently convicted of a felony or judged as mentally incapacitated and disqualified to vote.
